Serologic and molecular determination and phylogenetic analysis of some viruses infecting pepper in Turkey

Viruses are among the major agents causing yield loss in pepper production. During 2016-2017, a survey was performed pepperfields to determine of some viruses plants showing virus-like symptoms different provinces Turkey. Plant samples wereassayed using DAS-ELISA with specific antisera for cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), tomato spotted wilt (TSWV), yellow leafcurl (TYLCV), alfalfa (AMV), and mild mottle (PMMoV). The results indicated that 42.2, 17.5,17.5, 10.6 421 were infected CMV, TSWV, AMV, PMMoV, respectively. positive furtheranalysed by RT-PCR sequencing. Based on sequence analyses, phylogenetic tree drawn each PMMoV AMV.Phylogenetic analysis showed CMV isolates placed subgroup IA within group I. AMV classifiedwithin four clades high variability. grouped Serbia, Brazil, Japan I.One AMW determined possible recombinant isolates.
